In this Tutorial we describe how to take backup to Google Drive and restore anytime , even when your website is fresh WordPress install<\/h3>\n

Let’s know how to create backup of WordPress to google drive .<\/p>\n

Step 1. Login to your WordPress account . ( must have admin access<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

Step 2. On left side you can found plugin<\/strong> and under plugin you get option add new plugin<\/strong> . click on add new plugin.<\/p>\n

Step 3. Now go to\u00a0 search bar and type “UpdraftPlus<\/strong> ” and you will found UpdraftPlus<\/strong> plugin click install<\/strong> then active<\/strong> it.<\/p>\n

Step 4. Now go setting of UpdraftPlus<\/strong> . then select Google Drive<\/strong> as remote storage. After click on Google drive and save changes , it will ask for authenticate your account<\/strong> . ( Best login before start this setup or you can login also )<\/p>\n

Step 5.Once click on save , It will ask to login to google<\/strong> account . It will ask permission to access google drive from this plugin<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 6. now you click on Backup Now<\/strong> button . To create backup . It will create backup and\u00a0 upload to your Google Drive<\/strong> .<\/p>\n

How to Restore backup.<\/h3>\n

( NOTE : If you want to restore same hosting , Then just click on restore button . If you want to move new server then you need to install new WordPress and then you need to install same plugin and login with same email . Once done\u00a0 .. You can find restore button and you can process for restore . )<\/p>\n

You may have question , what about if you install fresh new WordPress\u00a0 ?( as like new hosting )\u00a0 \u00a0 then how to restore\u00a0 ?<\/h4>\n

Yes , That can be possible . just login WordPress admin and install this UpdraftPlus . <\/strong> and\u00a0 setup google drive as you know now ( WordPress backup to google drive).<\/p>\n

Then do\u00a0 same process .<\/p>\n

Then you can delete<\/strong> current one .<\/p>\n
